How to book your Newborn Session!

Hi there! Lately I've been getting a lot of inquiries about newborn photography and so I thought I would create a post to inform anyone interest how to book their own newborn session. Most people would think its as simple as showing up and snapping a few photos but its much more than that! Below you will find the steps to book your newborn session and the reason behind each step!

1. First you can contact me for availability HERE
   Note: It's best to contact me for availability in you last 2 months of pregnancy to ensure that I can fit you on my calendar! 
2. Once you've contacted me I will pick a date based on your due date as a place holder
   Note: Babies are unpredictable and can arrive at anytime so we will pick a date near your due date and adjust it upon the arrival of the baby.
3. Once we have a date in place I will send you a contract to sign and a invoice for the package chosen
   Note: I require a 50% retainer of the package chosen in order to hold your date.
4. Once your contract and invoice has been received I will send you a questionnaire that will help me plan your newborn session!
   Note: this questionnaire helps me choose accessories and props to best suit your baby.
5. You will also receive a guide to help you prepare for your session.
6. Next we wait for your little one to arrive and once he/she does you contact me as soon as you can so we can adjust the date of your session
   Note: babies photograph best under 2 weeks of age (6-11 days old is best) so it is important to contact me so we can adjust the date.
   Why is it important to photograph babies under 2 weeks?After 2 weeks of age babies have a mini growth spurt and start to stretch and many may not like being curled into those cute little positions like they were in the womb.
